First Art Gallery and Big Trees

We took a little trip to Compton Verney today with Granny & Grandpa. The house is gorgeous and is set in lovely grounds (although the signs from the car park could have been better). Isaac started out on my back in a sling (bamberoo wrap conversion, thanks Kirsty) and we looked at the first few rooms of pictures like that and then he got interested in the statues (tews) and wanted down (doon) and then had a lovely time trotting up and down the galleries and climbing up and down on benches. He was very well behaved though and when I asked him to keep his hands off exhibits he did. Compton Verney is very well set up for children and had a big room with art and craft things going on but also have a small room off their resource centre that has books, toys and pencils to keep everyone entertained. There were no photos allowed in the galleries though so the only photos of the visit are of the boys heading for the trees.

Isaac ended up sitting in the tree just where you can see that big knot on the right side (lifted there by Matthew I hasten to add, although it won't be long before he'll be climbing trees).

I managed to get the scribbles in my bag but they've got a bit bent and crumpled.
